ANTS

Ants are possibly the most common of pests dealt with, usually by untrained homeowners with boiling water and white powder going everywhere.

At Pulse we carry out very successful treatments against ants using extremely effective methods and at a price that means you no longer have to see an ant again, Who says you can’t get rid of ants??

BEDBUGS

Although still quite rare, infestations are becoming more and more common. Not to be confused with dust mites that live in mattresses, bed bugs are the size of an apple pip, flat, brown, oval in shape and give quite a bite that leads to a red itchy lump.

They are usually introduced to the home by a visitor from abroad or brought back from a family holiday.

A full survey will need to be carried out to discover the level of infestation followed by an intense treatment with follow ups until clear.

BEETLES

There are many varieties of beetle that infest properties for different reasons.

A survey will be carried out to establish type and breeding areas then correct action can be taken to deal with the problem.

All can be successfully eradicated once a survey has been carried out to establish the type of beetle you are having problems with.

BIRDS

Birds can become pests for several reasons, from noise (in lofts etc.) to their droppings which in some cases can be toxic and in all cases will attract insects.

Pest birds can be removed, waste cleared and area treated and proofing carried out to ensure no future problems.

COCKR0ACHES

Cockroaches are becoming more common- There are three main types that live in the UK. And they all tend to favour dark, warm steamy places often where food is available.

They carry many diseases such as dysentery and gastroenteritis. As they are nocturnal a survey using sticky traps needs to be carried out to judge the level of infestation.

Treatments can then be carried out using very effective gel baits and sometimes sprays.

FLEAS

When fleas are introduced to the home or workplace they can very quickly become a major nuisance and embarrassment. Using inferior over the counter products to treat your own fleas can be costly and usually has little or no effect on the problem at large.

At Pulse we use only the best products and techniques to quickly rid your premises of these annoying little pests. We never insist on 2 treatments like some companies and if a retreat is required it will be carried out at 50% of the original cost, although this is rare.

If pets are involved they must be treated by yourself or vet prior to any treatment being carried out to the property.

FLIES

There are many varieties of fly, each behaving and breeding in different ways. From blowflies to cluster flies, fruit flies to drain flies.

All can be successfully eradicated once a survey has been carried out to establish the type of fly you are having problems with.

We can also supply fly control machines for use in many environments.

MICE

Mice can get through tiny gaps and with their extremely rapid breeding habits can soon infest whole properties. Mice do about 90 droppings a day and leave them everywhere so usually you are alerted to their presence quite quickly.

Because of their lack of bladder control mice can spread diseases such as salmonella everywhere they go.

Treatments are usually straight forward and we have many methods we can use for a quick result. Proofing can usually be carried out to avoid further problems.

RATS

A lot bigger than mice Rats will climb, chew, burrow or squeeze into properties or gardens usually for food and shelter. When in properties they cause a lot of damage as they will chew just about anything.

Unlike mice, rats tend not to leave droppings everywhere but instead choose an area for a toilet which can create quite a smell.

They also carry many diseases, the worst one being Weils Disease which can kill humans. A survey will need to be carried out to discover the level of infestation and decide upon the best treatment Proofing can usually be carried out to avoid further problems.

SQUIRRELS

Squirrels often choose to live in roof spaces and lofts for safety and warmth. People usually call us out because of the noise they make but the damage they cause is a lot more serious with electrical problems and even fires occurring.

At Pulse we only use humane methods for the removal of squirrels, Proofing can usually be carried out to avoid further problems.

WASPS & BEES

Wasps nests should never he treated by the public due to the growing number of severe allergic reactions being reported each year.

We are cheaper than local authorities with a fixed price being given over the phone that won’t suddenly double when we arrive.

Sometimes wasps need more than one treatment for many reasons, however, at Pulse we won’t charge you a penny more if we have to come back and re-treat.
